SYRIAN security forces have shot dead three demonstrators in the northwest town of Jisrash Shughur.
"Syrian security forces opened fire to scatter more than 1000 demonstrators protesting after the funeral of a civilian killed on Friday," an activist said on condition of anonymity.
"Security forces opened fire near the post office, next to a security building, killing three people," said the activist, adding that he had the names of those killed.
Earlier, London-based rights activist Rami Abdel Rahman said fresh clashes erupted in Jisrash Shughur, 30 kilometres (19 miles) southwest of Idlib, as security forces tried to break up a column of protesters marching through the town
